Nope, I never discuss politics with family.  They're all on either the left or right extreme, and either way I'm certain to offend them eventually.

Nah.  My family doesn't usually discuss politics and my wife's family is mostly that rare breed called southern white progressives. (Not northern transplants, but true southerners.)

I voted yes, but not because I want to have them. My grandmother has lost her social filter and become conspiratorial in her old age, and she is almost certainly going to bring Trump and Killery in the course of what would otherwise be civil conversation.

My grandparents (specifically the 2 that are visiting, as the other 2 have died) think that Israel should be allowed to engage in apartheid policies, while my brother and I think that Israel should be held accountable for crimes against humanity it commits.  That is going to create major arguments.
