I find it hard to believe H.W Bush would run against his own son...or vice versa, that Dubya would run against his own father I suppose... but would Dubya be willing to wait until 2004?

I take it here the assumption is that Dubya decides not to run for whatever reason so H. W. steps in instead.

At anyrate it would be an interesting election

Possibly 2000 + Maine, New Mexico to Papa Bush, West Virginia and maybe Arkansas to Gore. Bush elected by House if Gore wins AR.
