Hillary Clinton decides not to run for re-election to the U.S Senate in 2006 to focus on her bid for President.
Democrats nominate Andrew Cuomo, while Republicans nominate Michael Bloomberg.
Despite the D wave, does Bloomberg keep the race competitive/win?
Bonus question: How does Hillary not running for re-election impact the 2008 Presidential race and beyond? With extra money in her coffers (that she didn't blow on a re-election campaign) would she emerge with the nomination?
