I can't believe her aspirations made her this impatient. She's quite the rising star in the GOP, would be disappointing for them if she looses and becomes irrelevant. She's already given up her house seat to a democrat, the Tucson GOP bench is pretty weak.

Probably didn't look too great.

Anyways, McSally running is the biggest mistake of 2018. She's the only GOP candidate strong enough who could hold her congressional seat and she's sacrificing that and potentially millions of dollars for a senate seat that is probably going to be won by a Democrat.

She's better off waiting until McCain retires (I hope that is the case) or in a more unfortunate scenario, passes away. She's not patient enough to do that?

She could and should. However it appears she's grown impatient waiting on the Main seat and is basically willing to risk everything including her competitive seat (which she would likely win again if she ultimately decided to run for reelection) to the democrats
