Dating more than one person to "test the waters" is fine, as long as it's just for a short period of time and there is nothing serious between any of the parties involved. Much more beyond that is obvious degeneracy.

More or less this (I have mixed feelings about the first part, I lean disapprove, but it's kind of a grey area; the second sentence states the obvious).

If you don't want to at least try to abide by the teachings of your faith, then why not leave that faith rather than try to change it into something it isn't? So, most of these folks married young and came to regret not exploring their sexual options more; polyamory is apparently their solution, rather than search within their faith for guidance on how to deal with what is obviously (from a Christian perspective) sinful behavior.

Polyamory and Christianity don't mix; simple as that. And, honestly, polyamory isn't a good idea - unless you enjoy unstable relationships, broken families, and unnecessary heartache in exchange for temporary, selfish pleasure.
