Would Kasich challenge Pence?

This question isn't really worth it's own thread, but I'm curious what the Forum thinks. Kasich is pretty obviously seriously considering a primary or (more likely) an independent run in 2020.

2 questions. Does Kasich challenge President Pence (assuming he's president going into the 2020 election), and does he primary Vice President Pence if Trump serves his whole term but doesn't run again?

I think he would, if he thinks Pence is as tainted by the Russia investigation as Trump is (which is quite possible).

However, it's more likely someone like Amash or Rand Paul (or Kelli Ward, if she pulls off a miracle in Arizona) would challenge Pence, then a mainstream Republican like Kasich...

I actually don't think so. Pence is much more palatable to someone like Kasich than Trump ever could be.
