Reynolds should win the GE if he approval rating is 51/30 (+21).

Iowa Gubernatorial elections can be prone to massive, shocking flips and have been in the past. In 2002, the GOP candidate lead in almost every poll by double digits, at some points exceeding 20, and Tom Vilsack came out the victor by a decent margin. Just be forewarned about existing favorites, especially unelected ones ala Kim Reynolds.

Iowa GOP today announced they're going after people's pensions in 2019. Reynolds is a goner

Bold prediction: I don't think there's any middle ground in Reynolds' future. Either she goes down next year or wins by a decent margin and becomes an Iowa household name.

Wrong, Iowa has gone right big time in 2016. Democrats won't win anything Statewide in that State anymore. The Days of Harkin, Braley and Vilsack are long gone.

*Rolls eyes eternally*
I'm pretty sure a Democrat can win statewide in Iowa if Doug Jones can win in Alabama.

Well, we learned Democrats can win almost anywhere if Republicans nominate a pedophile.
