Love detail on governors - lots of juicy political fun plus hilariously accurate names!

If someone could introduce my requests as a motion, that will be very helpful.

Since we've split this season in two, will we get the results of the elections next turn?

Yes, the election should take place at the end of this turn. If an election indeed can be held...

Oh, boy, that does not sound like a positive senate day.

I love this game dear god! I hope that I will find a way to make Vercingetorix entertaining like with "holy" Louis XV taxing the wealthies!

Is there any chance that I could take up one of Clodius’s brothers or Mark Antony next round?

Sure, we'll see who is the more prominent then. This will end on Monday, Senate voting begins on Saturday.

Before Lumine returns, may someone turn the requests I have made into motions?

The veredict is that I won't have full internet access until Sunday, it's a miracle to be online for a few minutes today. In the meantime do feel free to post, I'll retake this right after I get back. (sadly I won't be able to answer PM's)

Also, Senate voting is open in the meantime. I can't make the detailed post, but it's open.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the turn is closed and I can write an end of turn update. The bad news is that despite the extended time I have no orders from Crassus, Caesar and Cato... and as you can imagine, I can't quite update the turn if these characters are somehow inactive.

So as you can imagine I have a dilemma here, and I want to hear from the active players to find a consensus solution.

Without one of the triumvirs... it would be difficult to move forward. Even though historically Crassus got stomped, without Caesar hmm...

I think is a sign that this game isn't working out. As much as I love it, and have loved it, it's obviously too much for people. I mean, we're on our third Caesar in three (maybe four) turns. It pains me, but I think it's over.

I agree with DKrol, I loved this game but sadly not all people have enough time to play it.

I would agree, really. I liked being able to host a game in a time period I really like, but I also realize there are many limitations and perhaps some players are too busy with RL.

I don't like closing games like this, but one upside would be that I would be able to start another ASOIAF game as promised, and start it very soon. If no player objects over the next few hours, I think I'll make a final decision on Alea Jacta Est.

This game has been very fun, but I agree with the others that this game should be put down. I'm working on my own Nation RPG game that will have an opinion poll by Thursday (I hope). but yeah, this game is finished

Not that I want to tell you how to run your life, but do you think it's a smart idea to start another nation game when you know I'm in the process of starting one? I think a reason a lot of these games die is because of a flooding of the boards, dividing a small-ish player base among several games at once.

I would echo that sentiment, New Tennessean Politician, and please don't take it the wrong way. Oversaturation is becoming a problem when there's still a small number of potential players for games, and I would urge caution in such matters. From personal experience after years of playing or hosting on the board, it's best not to go overboard.
