I expect Moore to keep running for office until his own vengeful God strikes him down.

I doubt the guy who managed to let a Democrat win a senate seat in one of the reddest states in America would do very well, not to mention, his scandals aren't just going to go away.

He would lose badly if he won the primary, especially against a conservative Democrat. You can't recover from losing a senate seat in a state as red as Alabama as a Republican, or from being an accused pedophile.

Hopefully. I want to see Sue Bell Cobb beat him 10+ points or Walt Maddox beating him by 5.

I can see him running, or trying to run, but he's done. Besides, Kay Ivey is one of the most popular governors in the country right now: https://morningconsult.com/2017/10/31/americas-most-least-popular-governors-october-2017/ Ivey would demolish Roy Moore.

It's totally legitimate to chastize the AL Republicans who stuck with Moore once he was the GOP nominee for Senate ... but even the Alabama GOP primary electorate would not nominate him now with other GOP choices.

His political career is over. But that might not stop him from trying, because he's clearly not the most rational person.

As of now, Moore is unelectable.  He won't win a GOP primary now, unless it's in a hopelessly Democraitc constituency where he'd have no chance of winning.

I could see him running as a 3rd party candidate.  For all his piousness, I consider him to be vindictive enough to run a 3rd party bid, maybe against Jones in 2020.  He's not a "party guy" as far as the GOP goes, and he's really a guy that isn't reachable in terms of making concessions for the party's sake.

The caveat to this is if, somehow, some way, the allegations that have come against him were proven to be malicious lies.  I'm not holding my breath waiting for this, but if that actually happened, it would prompt a "Right the Wrong!" movement by Moore's supporters that might get traction.  Of course, Moore has made some statements about Constitutional Law for the first time in his career that would frighten just enough voters in Alabama to keep him down.

It would be interesting to see Alabama with a Democratic Governor and Senator.

I would not put it past Alabama Republicans to nominate him again. I would suspect he's very popular with the Republican base.

I always thought Moore would run for Governor instead of Senate. Like last year I thought so, but the Senate race was his last chance. I could see him running as a far right third party contender sometime in 2020 or 2024.

He has run for governor twice (2006, 2010).

Funny that he lost Etowah County both times, even in the very divided 28-25-25-19 2010 result.
