It came half an hour after the turn was closed, so no.

Ernie Fletcher vs. Generic Democrat
281-257
PV goes to Fletcher by 1 point.

Walter Jones vs. Generic Democrat
260-278
PV goes to Democrat by .2%

For Christie, it really depends on the Democratic nominee, wether it's Biden or Clinton. If it's Biden, then most likely Biden will win. If it's Clinton, then Christie will most likely win.

What would be a Christie vs Clinton vs Carolla as a independent bid be like?

Christie: 355
Clinton: 179
Clark: 4

As an independent, Carolla would mostly appeal to the western states but he would still lose them. Meanwhile, the vote-split ING would be terrible, especially in key swing states.

Hopefully today. I'm grading the player's performances now.

Next turn will actually begin tomorrow. Not sure if to make it an 11 day turn until the GOP SC Primary and the DEM NV Caucus (Jan 21) or a more frantic 20 day turn to extend to the DEM SC Primary and the Florida Primary for both parties.

I'll be accepting feedback from the players on whether they prefer to cover all this in a single turn or whether they prefer having two.

I vote for the eleven day turn, plus two more turns...one to cover South Carolina for Democrats, and then Florida getting a turn to itself.

I'm surprised I did as well as I did, actually... I didn't realize that Feingold had as much support in New Hampshire as he did, and that it was transferable to Biden.

Maybe picking Feingold as my running mate is the way to go...

I'd rather have 11. SC (or even NV for the Dems) could be a good catalyst for momentum going into the later primaries in the month.

Yeah, I'm thinking about putting Upton as my running mate. He would do well with the whole campaign idea of national unity.

Even if we did that, Florida should get a turn to itself.

Not sure how it would work but could we have the debates end before the actual turn? It would give the turn a more dynamic feel; and allow me to not be asleep when people attack me (because if all the responses are posted at 10PM EST Im not awake) I know I'm as guilty as anyone for taking ages to post debate answers

This. I was going to take a shot at Christie in the debate but it would be pretty rude to attack him 10 minutes before the turn ended, so I decided not to.

Since Democrats are head-to-head, can we have more endorsements (five seems like a good number)?

I could, but that would require players posting earlier so there's enough time to respond to attacks. I'll experiment with this dynamic next turn, the debate ending 24 hours before the turn does.

I'll expand to three or four, I guess. But as I've often said endorsements are really not that decisive in the larger scheme of things (speeches and detailed schedules have far more of an impact).
