Given the concerns made by supporters of the Deputy Game Moderator Abolition Act, there seems to be a strong feeling that the office of Deputy Game Moderator is unimportant. As I said in the thread of the bill, I take some responsibility for this and I will in future be more transparent. I will now archive all the work I do here. I'll also post some non-DGM related stuff in here too to keep a record.

5th March: Cost Analysis for the Lincoln Gun Control Act:
So this programme will cost around $8.188 billion. Taking into account factors like non compliance, the license fee would need to be at-least $243.39 on average per gun to break even.

13th March: Ballpark estimate on a possible bill:
Quote from: Restricted

Should cost around 3 billion, but the bill is extremely flexible and as we've discussed, a little vague, so yeah, this is a ballpark estimate.

16th March: Cost Analysis of the Act to Preserve and Cherish Native Atlasian Culture:
The amendment should generate around $3.73 million.

26th March: Cost Analysis of the amended Free Higher Education for Atlasia Act:
Final estimates -

Funding:
High estimate - $10.18bn
Low estimate - $8.93bn

Cost:
$10.97bn

Explaining the high and low estimates:
Given that the SEC is free to determine the risk fee between 1% and 8%, I've created a low estimate where the SEC charges entirely 1% and a high estimate where the 8% is entirely charged. The actual income would be somewhere in between, once against depending on the SEC's decision.

Tweaked Health-care a bit. The confusion seems to come from the layout of the section, so I tweaked it a little, if the committee doesn't mind this. I also found an error in the tax code which I've fixed. Any more concerns?

I believe you mean "The removal of the cap on social security tax would generate an extra 75.62 Billion."

Also, I want to contrast a bit with your numbers. Maybe you are doing it differently, but it seems that you are just multiplying the percentage amount reduction by the total amount of payroll revenue. If so, that does neglect some of the dynamic changes that are caused by payroll changes.

May I suggest that you use this website. I use it for all tax policy, and they reference dynamic along with real American totals.

My totals, according to the AEF TaxBrain:

Repeal of the Payroll Tax Cap (No other changes): +$167.0B in 2018
Reduction to 12% (with Payroll Tax Cap): +$133.1B in 2018
Reduction to 11% (with Payroll Tax Cap): +$48.5B in 2018
Reduction to 10% (with Payroll Tax Cap): -$36.2B in 2018

Your Healthcare Tax results look great!

The basis behind the request was to begin looking at alternatives to the payroll tax and ways to scale that back since it has adverse effects on employment.

Also to make sure that both healthcare and social security were sustainable.

Leave of Absence

This month, starting from the 5th and ending on the 18th, I will have almost daily exams. I will still be around but I won't have the time to complete any revenue studies, budgets and other tasks as part of my role as Deputy Game Moderator. As such, I am taking a leave of absence.

Leave of Absence

Starting tomorrow afternoon, I won't be able to be online much for 10 days. I should have enough time to comment and vote on bills but I won't be writing any bills.

Statement on Presidential Debates

With the campaign for president is ramping up, a debate should be held but I don't feel I'd be the best moderator for this debate. If anyone else wants to host, I'll help them out and coordinate with them. If anyone has any comments on this or wants to host the debate, post them here or PM me.

I have resigned.

Thanks everyone, we had more debates in the last 4 months than for a long time!

I think that this is an important institution so I hope the President makes it a priority to find a new Debate Moderator.
