The funny thing is that they are both implying that the other is pro-choice (which I wouldn't think they would do unless they were positioning themselves as pro-life).  Does anyone know either of their actual positions?
Cox seems to be the more pro life out of the two Allen has voted for pro-choice stuff in the assembly
Plus all the pro-life groups are backing Cox
Allen isn't actually pro-life.  John Cox is indeed pro-life, but for the people that make the pro-life agenda their top priority, Cox isn't pro-life enough.  He isn't making it a campaign issue.  People are turning to Desmond Silveira to represent the pro-life camp.
Silveira is not a serious candidate. The American Solidarity Party doesn't even have ballot access.

Travis Allen is sadly my assemblyman (with Dana Rohrabacher as my congressman as well Sad). He’s more moderate than his rhetoric right now suggests. He’s trying to rally the MAGA crowd to his side first to make the runoff.
It's really sad to watch both Allen and Cox fighting for the right wing vote when both are more moderate than that and in order to actually have a shot there going to have to go more towards the middle if one of them makes it to the final election.

Man, neither are going to actually have a shot to become Governor of California in a Trump midterm.

Cox could make the runoff, but if he does, he loses in a landslide.

That’s the worst hottake I’ve since the Daily Kos declared that forcing Franken to resign would lead to the GOP picking up both MN Senate seats.

It's interesting that Newsom is in fourth place among Latino voters.

So what is the magic number of Latinos Villar needs to win the GE, 70+?, I think Newsom needs 60+ with whites to be good and he'll win Asians by a good margin.

I'm curious have you seen any ads on TV for this race yet. The first campaign add I saw was on Saturday on ESPN and it was for Republican Cole Harris for Lieutenant Governor.

From the Inland Empire, haven't seen any advertising for this race. No TV ads and the campaign signs here have been for Sheriff and Assembly races

In the Sacramento area, there have only been signs for local races. Sheriff Jones might lose this time around. Not sure if Schubert (Sac County DA) will keep office, but I think that she will.

Eastin is winning the bumper sticker war 2-0 for everyone else.

Also, Jones endorsing Chiang is obvious given that they've been friends since high school. Jones ran for class prez with Chiang as VP.

Cox is going after Newsom and Villariagosa. Seriously though how can Democrats support these sleazy men.

Very hard to take an ad about sexual affairs from Republicans seriously considering who their president is.

I didn't realize that Trump was running for Governor of California. Seriously can we focus on state issues and not bring the President into everything. Catharine Baker my state assemblywoman has a Democrat opponent who says if elected she'll fight Trump's agenda. The state assembly has nothing to do with Congress and her Democrat opponent is campaigning like it does.
