I guess you can, just state your candidate and what party you would be running in and wait for the Mod to respond.

What Kemp did

Kemp spent time in Iowa and South Carolina campaigning on tax reform and reminding pepole of the  architect of one of the biggest tax cuts in history.

He also campaigned on renegotiating NAFTA by saying while it’s a good idea and I support it. President Gore has completely butchered it. And saying as president that he will work to make it fairer to Amercian workers.

This election is one of the most crucial ones in our nation's history. In these times of high unemployment caused by Al Gore's promotion of big government, higher taxes, higher regulations that made America a harder place to do business, we can't afford to get this election wrong. Because if we get this election wrong, it might be too late for America. We can't let that happen. As Ronald Reagan has said, government is not the solution to the problem. Government is the problem.

That is why I pledge to cut taxes and regulations for all Americans, including the middle class, and for all businesses across this country, including small businesses because most of the jobs come from small businesses. That way, we're going to reinforce their ability to innovate, to grow, to expand and to create goog-paying jobs. I also take the pledge to pursue our quest for open markets through the promotion of free trade, to encourage oil drilling and to allow America to take advantage of all of its sources of energy, to reform our education system and to balance the budget.

This election might be our last chance to get America back in the right direction and that's why I'm asking for your vote for the sake of a stronger economy, for more jobs and a fairer America.

-Foreign policy speech in Charleston, South Carolina Sad

My friends, we're living dangerous times in which the terrorist has become stronger than ever before. Even though we took military action against Al Qaeda after 9/11, President Gore has not given all the necessary efforts to find and kill Osama Bin Laden and destroy Al Qaeda. He reduced our defense budget and thus he deprived our army and our allies of the arsenal and troops we need to fight radical Islamic terrorism. He's been proven to be weak on foreign policy and counter-terrorism.

And worse, we've got Saddam Hussein's Iraq who is seeking to get weapons of mass destruction in addition of giving sanctuary to jihadists like Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a terrorist who was involved in the millennium plot, a terrorist attempt to commit bombing attacks against tourist sites in Jordan as well as against the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the USS The Sullivans in the context of millennium celebrations. We've got Iran who is none other than the biggest state-sponsor of terrorism in the world and is seeking to get nuclear weapons and we've got North Korea is also sponsoring terrorist groups while developping nuclear weapons that could eventually wipe Hawaii, Alaska and the Western Coast off the map. These 3 countries are forming the Axis of Evil.

I proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and I am now serving in the U.S. Senate Committee on Intelligence as well as in the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services. Among all the actual Republican presidential candidates, I have the right experience to keep America safe and to defeat radical Islamic terrorism. As President, I will increase our defense budget in order to reinforce and modernize our military, I will strengthen our alliances and I will deploy all the necessary military troops and arsenal to defeat Al Qaeda and to find and capture or kill Bin Laden. If necessary, we will topple Saddam Hussein in order to make sure that they won't get WMDs and that Iraq will not be a safe haven for terrorism. Under my leadership, military action against Iran will not be taken-off the table, but it will be the last option. Thanks to stronger sanctions against Iran, Tehran will finally understand that its uranium should be used to grow Iran's economy and create jobs for Iranians, not to develop nuclear weapons.

Thanks to my experience and leadership, we will finally defeat radical Islamic terrorism, get America and the entire world to victory against this evil and get us to peace through strength. That's why I ask for your vote. Thank you. God bless you and God bless America.

Kemp campaigns on tax reform in New Hampshire

Now President Gore pledged back in the day that he wouldn’t raise taxes on working Americans.
However that doesn’t seem to be the case.

As a matter of fact he has raised taxes even more on business and families than when Clinton was president.  When can we say enough is enough? If not now then when?

We need someone who has been proven to cut taxes and regulations  on Americans not just knows how to.

And that person is the one that is talking to you right now!!!  As President I will give Amercia a flat tax rate and make your taxes simpler and shorter to fill out. If you want that then you should vote for Jack Kemp!

Awfully sorry to all, hosting my own games has made it impossible for me to play one in a responsible manner. I leave it up to this game's GM to decide what happens to Gingrich, but sadly I cannot carry on as him.

Round 2 : August 15-August 28 2003

Summary : Some Republican presidential candidates saw a small decline in the polls due to their absence on the campaign trail. While John McCain campaigns mostly on his foreign policy credentials, Mike Huckabee does the same for his social conservatism and Jack Kemp for his fiscal conservatism. While McCain holds his lead in New Hampshire, a state he largely won during the 2000 Republican presidential primaries, Huckabee edged Dick Cheney for first place in Iowa where his appeal among social conservatives and evangelicals is strong.

Kemp campaign ad attacking McCain for voting for Gore tax hike

Voiceover:Im Jack Kemp and I approve this message.

McCain:I’m a tax cutter plain and simple.

Voiceover:Oh really now?

Then why did Senator McCain vote for tax increases twice in 2001 and 2002?

Not just on Amercian people but business and property.

For shame Senator.

Also why has McCain voted with the Democrats with the economy? Cause he is their agent to get President Gore re-elected.

McCain may seem like a conservative but he is just another tax and spend Liberal.

Jack Kemp however has been proven to fight for tax cuts for Amercian people and businesses.
He wrote the big 1981 tax cut and through his years in Congress never vote for a tax raise.

And Kemp as president will never vote for a tax increase.  If you want conservative leadership you can trust them vote for Kemp.

John McCain's response to Jack Kemp's ad

I don't know where Jack Kemp takes his references but his claims are totally false. There's never been a time in my life in which I voted in favor of tax increases on the American peopleand on businesses. I'm proud to be a conservative Republican. I am proud to be a foot soldier of the Reagan Revolution. I have always voted to cut taxes and regulations on the American people just like I always voted to cut wasteful government spending. I would never have supported President Gore's tax and big government policies that made America a harder place to do business and killed jobs.

I voted YES to implement broad-based tax cuts, I voted YES on phasing out the estate tax, I voted YES on eliminating the marriage penalty tax and I supported the Small Business Impact Analyses Amendment of 1995 that was aimed at blocking regulations on small businesses.

I have great respect for Jack, but he's telling calumnious lies about me, claiming that I am an agent to get President Gore re-elected. That is simply not true and he knows that very well. Jack has decided to use the same dirty-trick campaign style used by George W. Bush against me in South Carolina four years ago. But this time it will not work because people know that everything he said is not true. I'm sorry that Jack doesn't have the reputation of a straight talker like myself.

I find it strange that Jack attacks me on taxes because in 1988 Jack opposed a balanced budget constitutional amendment just like he opposed right-to-work laws. In addition, 10 years ago, he criticized Bob Dole and his tax increase of 1982, declaring that it was the biggest tax increase in the history of the world. And yet he accepted to be Dole's running mate in 1996.

So the bottom line, Jack, is that if there's a tax and spend Liberal promoting big government in the Republican field it's you, not me.

I'm the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce. I know what it takes to grow this economy and create jobs, which requires the promotion of small government and free market. So my friends, if you want a real conservative who will bring the government at its lowest size in history, cut taxes for all Americans and for businesses, make America the best place in the world to do business, balance the budget, adopt a balanced budget amendment and reduce government spending I'm asking for your vote.

Phil Bredesen Attack Ad on Al Gore labeled 'The Lockbox'

President Gore

In the 2000 debates with George W. Bush, you spoke of a Lockbox

You promised to put Healthcare, Education, and Taxes in said lockbox. Mr. President, how has that Lockbox worked out for you?

You surely put Fossil Fuels in the lockbox, keeping millions of people out of a job.

So, Mr. President, how's that lockbox with failed education, Economic, and Healthcare policies going for you?

I'm Phil Bredesen and I endorse this message

Feingold Ad: Values
Run in New England and Iowa

What America do we have now?

Not one where people feel safe.

We need an America where we are all given a fair shot at life.

Let's build that America together. Without President Gore.
