I don't think so. Unless it's proven that voting machines were hacked, it's clear that the Russians did try to influence the election in favor of Trump, but they did so largely through online propaganda - not actually affecting votes in any way.

I guess you believe every election was stolen then. Every president since 1828 was elected by the Electoral College...the fact that most of them have won the PV as well is more coincidence than anything.

Let's just accept that Trump actually won the 2016 election fair and square. Let's also accept that Dems can rein him in if they do well in the midterms later this year.

You'd have to be a pretty enormous hack to look at an election where (a) one side openly tried to make it harder for the other side to vote and (b) that side only ended up winning because votes for that side were counted as more than votes for the other side and call that anything but illegitimate.

1876-Backroom deal over a few states.
1824-Went to the House, deals were made to make JQA president.
1960-Illinois and Texas voter fraud, from both sides
2000-Supreme Court ruled against rightful winner.

There's no reason to believe that any deals were made to make JQA president. Henry Clay hated Jackson and Crawford was dying, so he threw his support behind JQA, and he was an influential and respected enough figure within the House that most members followed suit.
