LOL @ the 86-10 Trump favourable rating in Vietnam.

I guess he can always run for President there once he fails in 2020 ...

Pope Francis is popular almost everywhere, except in Azerbaijan (-1) and extremely unpopular for some reason in Serbia and in Muslim Turkey and Pakistan (although other Muslim countries view him favourable).

seems legit
it's interesting that Croatia likes Putin much more than  Slovenia. Also, 77-18 in Moldova possibly a bad sign for pro-european parties.

Greece being 72-25 pro-Putin is quite shocking as well ...

Also, maps of how each leader is seen in each country would be great.

Greece is orthodox, is favourite Russian tourists' country, Balkan countries love Putin and he himself often went to Greek orthodox monasteries.

Funny that in Ukraine Putin polled better (35-59) then Poroshenko (17-75) (per IRI summer poll)

Any Western European nation that favors Putin or Rouhani over Trump, no matter how bad you think Trump is, needs a slap in the face.

Who has a better net favorable rating in each country, between Trump and Putin?:

Trump:
Afghanistan, Czech Republic, Ghana, Japan, Kosovo, Philippines, Poland, South Korea, Ukraine, USA

Putin:
Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Vietnam

Though there are a few countries, like the UK, where Putin wins in *net* favorability, though Trump’s raw favorable rating is higher, because there are more undecideds on Putin.

? Western European countries aren't threatened in any way by Putin. Trump threatens Europe with trade wars or withdrawal of co-operation in defence, economic or environmental policy nearly every day.

Short answer: yes.

Was there ever a UK leader so unpopular in Europe? Only Russia & Argentina are able to beat out European countries from making May's 10 worst ratings uniformly European.

What I find amusing is that France is one of only 6 countries where Macron has a negative rating (with Korea and Pakistan?). Which is so predictably French.

And a rare case of the French actually being right.

Because he didn't improve bilateral relations. Also state-owned MSM still don't criticize him personally.

Albania's love for everybody cracks me up: they enthusiastically endorse Trump, the King of Saudi Arabia, Rouhani, Netanyahu, Erdogan, Modi, Xi, Merkel, Macron and May.
