This has been correlated by what many consider a steady decrease in the quality of education throughout Lamarna. Wealthy families are even choosing to send their children to boarding schools in the United States, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, as well as universities in the rest of the world. The previous administration had raised the cost of tuition at public universities to increase revenue due to fewer students applying. Now many are claiming that a college education is "beyond reach" for many less affluent families. What solution does the Socialist Party present to combat this "crisis of education"?

That's why a Socialist government plans on making the Lamarna National University absolutely free for students whose families make more than 175% of the national poverty line. For most families, that means those who make less than $60,000 can send their kids to Lamarna National University for free. In order to do this, we will increase funding for the LNU with a .8% tax increase on stock trading and a 2% increase in capital gains and inheritance taxes.

May 20 Morning: The Morgan campaign launches its second fundraiser of the week in Arcadia University, specifically targeting individual donations from younger and student voters.

It's rather simple: we offer solutions that are never really considered by the other major parties. I was elected on a platform of supporting universal education for example. We can start by revitalizing the manufacturing sector through the development of modern infrastructure, such as upgraded ferry and inter-island flight services. We can look to upgrade our rail services. This will pump millions into a modernized manufacturing sector, and ensure that we are developing jobs for the 21st century.

Another thing we can do is build up our renewable energy sector, through the construction of wind and solar farms and hydroelectric dams, which will provide thousands of jobs for our construction workers. We can set up biofuel plantations, which will allow farmers struggling for revenue to earn money by selling these crops to the government, as well as selling their own goods. This will allow our farming sector to rebuild their lives. We can invest in our local education to ensure that we have a highly educated populace, which will also ensure high-level jobs come to the southern islands.

These are solutions that myself, and our leader, Anthony Milton, have been fighting for in Parliament for months, and in Anthony's case, years, yet we have not been heard by those in power. Our party is pushing for these solutions, and with the support of the voters, a Socialist government will enact these policies.

Well, thankfully, it's transpired that all is well on the homefront. Maineiac managed to get in contact with her, and it seems like Kamala's personal life has sort of just overwhelmed her ability to stay active on Atlas. Certain posters (myself definitely included) just sort of mentally blew things out of proportion.

Now, with that out of the way: that was my thinking. I figure we can either find a new singular moderator (perhaps someone with more of a bit-part character within the game; I would volunteer were I not a leadership candidate) or find a way to cycle that duty between us.
