Obviously both are absolutely horrific, but if I had to be governed by one of the two, I'm gonna have to go with the one who hasn't committed genocide yet.

At least the former was a fully functioning state who could care enough to even think about the welfare of their people to some extent (abet for White Aryans). The later is a despotic wasteland for its people and only the Kim family and their surroundings are even able to feed themselves. The later also holds much tighter control over it's shorter borders unlike the former where i could escape easier to a different country through say the Swiss Alp's rather then getting shot trying to cross the demilitarized zone or the Yalu.

Life in pre-war Nazi Germany is probably preferable and much more comfortable compared to North Korea, provided you're no Jew, Romani, other form of ethnic minority, homosexual, disabled person, communist, or generally a woman.

However, the Nazis will inevitably start a world war in which the city you live is probably going to get repeatedly carpet-bombed. Either that, or you're eventually going to get drafted to fight in Stalingrad. On the plus side though, the Nazi regime is finished much quicker than the North Korean one.

There were 20,000 people of African descent living in Nazi Germany, mostly servants from the former African colonies. The Gestapo made no special effort to identify or exterminate them, or black people in the occupied zone in general, but they were still visible minorities living in Nazi Germany. And the way they handled African French POWs was the human rights atrocity you'd expect. I have a strong feeling the Nazis in Germany and Austria have come up with an executive plan since then.

I think my answer is obvious as a gay Jews.
However, I'd prefer to live in the early years of the Nazi regime, before the holocause officially started, over both options since that was when you not only could, but was encouraged to pack up and leave.

One of the reasons life in DPRK is bad is because of the sanctions the world has imposed on it. Not to say the sanctions are wrong but it isn't all the government.

I guess with two horrific options, I'll answer selfishly.  As a very Germanic looking person who has German ancestry, I think it would be much easier for me in Nazi Germany, and I would have a much better chance for my family and me to survive.  That is not some endorsement of that ideology, as I think these strange polls aim to get out of people.

I'm half-Jewish and while their was the possibility of some to gain honorary aryan status i'd never have that chance since I also have a long track record of being heavily involved in leftist politics. I guess the DPRK though if you held a gun to my head and forced me to make this choice i'd probably choose the gun in all honesty.
