From Rapper to President: The Story of Trippie Redd’s Years from 2019-2025 (Part 1:)

”Trippie Redd” mostly sat back and smoked weed and kept producing tracks for the Election of 2020. The 2020 Election was fairly lopsided for the Democratic Candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. The political status of the country left by former President Trump (who resigned in disgrace) was very volatile and divided. President Pence escaped a narrow Republican Primary and chose UN Ambassador Nikki Haley (Haley resigned her UN Ambassador position after she was chosen as the pick, over placeholder VP Sonny Perdue) as his running mate, but still couldn’t win enough female and minority votes to overturn the most popular Senator, or politician in America.

U.S Presidential Election of 2020:

Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT)/Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN): 319 Electoral Votes, 50.1%
Pres. Mike Pence (R-IN)/Fmr. UN. Amb. Nikki Haley (R-SC): 219 Electoral Votes, 47.8%

Trippie Redd was sitting by his television with a blunt in his hands, getting head from one of his multiple girlfriends’ wondering how some old dude from Vermont was gonna be the next president. He loved Bernie, but he was wondering if his new “King of Emo Rap” title was gonna last. He was wondering about his future. He was thinking about his home, Canton, Ohio.

From Rapper to Mayor: The Story of Trippie Redd’s Years from 2019-2025 (Part 2:)

The 2024 Presidential Election would be remembered from a historical perspective as “another 1996”. Trippie Redd’s game had gradually gotten less and less prominent over the past few years, in the presence of more “chill vibed” lo-fi music. Trippie was getting tired of weed, he didn’t like it much anymore despite many states now having it legal, and all the major Democratic Primary challengers calling for legislation for national legalization. The death of his friend and former rival, XXXTentacion had an effect on why Trippie was trying to quit drugs. Trippie Redd made a joking tweet on October 8th, 2024: “All these mfs out here talkin about Harris and Ricketts, 1400 retweets and I’ll run for mf Mayor of Canton!!! 1400 Gang!!!”. The tweet got 1,400 retweets in forty five minutes. He had also gotten some written letters, but mostly emails, encouraging him to run. Canton was in trouble, his old friends had told him before. Michael White IV made up his mind. He was going home.

Meanwhile, in a more general world political perspective, President Sanders had gotten a lot done in his first, and only term (He declined to seek a second term because he was 82 years old). He had passed universal healthcare, immigration reform, was on the pathway to legalize Marijuana nationally (legal in most states), had gotten Medical Marijuana legalized recently, gotten Citizens United overturned, long story short, he got a lot of progressive things done in his term. Vice President Klobuchar decided not to run, and Senators Harris, Booker, Murphy, Gillibrand, and Governors Kander and Moulton all battled for the Nomination. In the end, it went to California Senator Kamala Harris. The Republican field was much more wacky. The “vibes” were for another Democratic victory in 2024. Former Governor Ricketts took Republican Sentiments and won the Nomination. Senator Harris blew Pete Ricketts out of the water in November.

U.S Presidential Election of 2024:

Sen. Kamala Harris/Gov. Richard Cordray: 352 Electoral Votes, 52.0%
Fmr. Gov. Pete Ricketts/Sen. David Perdue: 186 Electoral Votes, 46.5%

Cordray didn’t win the gubernatorial election though. We need a new phrophetoc timeline to make lame jokes about in the 2020 board.
