In this "opinion of Kamala" thread:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=281271.0

she's currently at 93% FF.  There may be other posters in the past who've gotten a higher %age, but what about the raw number of FF votes (now at 71)?  Has anyone ever beaten that?  Who is most likely to have gotten the largest number of FF votes in a single poll?

Some of the newer posters worried about their popularity should note that Bacon King's FF skyrocketed after being banned.  That's right just tell your local moderator that you want to be banned and watch your popularity soar today!

But that's only 41 FF votes.  Looks like Bacon King got 97 FF votes, which might be the record, unless anyone can beat that.

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=258271.0 February 2017
43 FF 84.3%
8 HP 15.7%

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=216581.0 July 2015
36 FF 81.8%
8 HP 18.2%

However, I know for sure this isn't the highest. Just a bit up there.

You don't strike me as someone who has ever been given the option whether or not to care about your own popularity.

That's not as many as Bacon King, but that may well be the record for total number of votes in the poll, at 119 (and counting).  It seems like the strategy for getting the most FF votes is not to simply be a popular poster, but also have there be at least a little controversy about you so that the thread goes on and on for a long time.  (I mean, the BK thread happened after he was temp banned for giving away his password to Tweed.)  If there's no controversy, then the thread isn't going to last very long, so there won't be that many votes.

same. I tried to avoid everyone, the only reason I was even popular was because the "most popular" girl at my school strongarmed herself into a relationship with me in Sophomore year.

It seems I was most popular in 2009, with a 95.3% FF rating:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=95192.0

Currently, I'd say it is somewhere around 45%.

BK case was of course very diffrent than your average banned user people rush to proclaim a huge FF and a martyr beause muh mod fascists. Aside of BK being genuinely well-liked, people were pissed at what Tweed done to him. And we all knew the ban was a temporary affair BK himself agreed with.

The controversy surrounding my ban certainly brought a very high volume of responses to the 2015 poll . That appears to be the reason why the raw vote total was so high (102 FF votes out of 115 total). However there definitely wasn't a "martyr effect" at play during my ban. In fact, the opposite occurred - my actions caused the community to dislike me more than it ever had before (and rightfully so, given the circumstances).

In that 2015 "opinion of banned BK" poll I have 13 HP votes: twice the number of HP votes I've gotten in any other "opinion of BK" poll. In terms of percentages the poll result was 88.7% to 11.3%. I believe that 88.7% FF is actually the worst result I've ever gotten from a FF/HP poll

This 2013 poll was the most recent "opinion of bacon king" thread prior to my ban. There were fewer voters of course but let's assume that it's still a representative sample. The raw votes were 74 FF to 5 HP. An FF rating of 93.7%

Comparing the results of these polls, we can conclude that the scandal surrounding my ban caused my Atlas Forum favorability rating to fall 5 points Cheesy
