I know you got distracted and didn't come back to correct yourself, but doesn't Pirates of the Car sound like a great premise for a movie?

I mean it as one.  I'm not talking about films like Coraline, Inside Out, Up, Where the Wild Things Are, The Lion King, etc which clearly had a lot on their mind or something like Toy Story 3, Babe, or Finding Nemo that were exceptionally well made.  I'm talking about stuff like Get Smart, Space Jam, Looney Toons: Back in Action, Osmosis Jones, Prince of Egypt, etc.

Like what everyone else seems to be doing, I'll start with my birth year.

1993: Schindler's List (which mind you, I haven't seen)
1994: The Lion King
1995: Toy Story
1996: Independence Day
1997: Titanic (How do you argue with a movie that, as of 2017 has grossed over $2.1 billion worldwide, and won 11 Oscars?)
1998: The Prince of Egypt
1999: Tarzan (I just love Phil Collins's music)
2000: Cast Away (I've seen small parts of it, which hint at it's greatness)
2001: Black Hawk Down (Which I haven't seen)
2002: Spirited Away (I have a weakness for Hayao Miayzaki films)
2003: Finding Nemo
2004: The Incredibles
2005: Brokeback Mountain (I've never seen Brokeback Mountain, but I hear it's really good)
2006: The Devil Wears Prada (I've only seen parts of the movie, and I don't love it, but 2006 wasn't a great year for movies)
2007: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (I haven't seen it...but I am a sucker for musicals)
2008: The Dark Knight (unless you count the Batman films that preceded me being born, this has been the best Batman film..nay the best DC Comics film, period)
2009: Avatar (I would never pick against a film that made almost $2.8 billion worldwide)
2010: Inception/The King's Speech (Both of these movies were excellent, and I simply cannot decide between the two)
2011: The Iron Lady (It's a great story about Margaret Thatcher. Watch it if you have the chance...even if you don't like Thatcher)
2012: Lincoln (Honestly, Steven Spielberg was robbed of Best Director at the Oscars for Lincoln)
2013: Frozen
2014: The Lego Movie (I've seen parts of it, and it's hilarious)
2015: Concussion (Will Smith was robbed of a Best Actor nomination for this movie)
2016: Florence Foster Jenkins (I have a soft spot for anything with Meryl Streep in it)
2017: Darkest Hour/The Post/Dunkirk (I literally cannot decide between these films. They are almost perfect in every way)

My top 5 anticipated ones are for 2018 atm:

- A Wrinkle in Time
- The Incredibles 2
- Isle of Dogs (I'm a sucker for Wes Anderson)
- Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom [in a popcorn flick sort of way, but hey, as long as it doesn't overplay itself like the first sequel, or half- @$# itself like third, it's fine....and it looks to be more intelligent than the last one, time will tell]
- Wreck-It Ralph 2
