What is your personal perfect number of members of the United States House of Representatives?

What, btw, would be its lowest number so that Wyoming is allocated one Representative without the "1 given by default" rule?

Is there an online page or an android app that I could use for calculating the number of seats?

I found an online application:

http://people.math.binghamton.edu/fer/courses/math130/ZIS_Spr14/chapter2/HH.html

But it is only viable for six states. Cry

We should never have abandoned the 1890-1910 rule.

I would like somewhere around 600-700, with a multi-party parliamentary system.

And that would still be a smaller parliament than the German Bundestag, which only represents one quarter of the number of inhabitants living in the USA. Roll Eyes

That's my thought as well. I've gone into specifics before, but it is a number that works overall in terms of balancing the size of a legislature versus the size of each constituency.

Mine too. 676 is still more people per rep than in 1912 when the House size was set to its current 435.
