Romney's Approval and Democratic Primary Polls:

Romney's Approval:

Approve: 61%(+1%)
Disapprove: 37%(-1%)
Dont Know: 2%

John King: Currently it is not surprising as the President has 2 things going great for him right now: 1 . The Economy has grown at a slightly faster rate than expected 2 years ago ,  2. Legislative Success we havent seen since maybe Johnson and the Great Society . So these approvals in my opinion arent a surprise , now lets move on to the Democratic Primaries poll which may have shaken up after Senator Sanders and Governor Beebe's win in the debates last night.

Democratic Party Poll:

Hillary Clinton: 27%
Joe Biden : 22%
Howard Dean: 18%
Bernie Sanders: 16%
Mike Beebe: 12%
Martin O Maley 1.9%
Jim Webb 1.3 %
Larry Lessig  1.2%
Brad Henry .6%

John King : As you can see Senator Sanders and Governor Beebe moved up a lot and now have a plausible chance of winning the Democratic Nomination. The Top 3 contenders: Secretary Clinton, Vice President Biden, and Governor Dean dropped in the polls but remain the favorite while the remaining candidates still polling in low single digits. As you can see Governor Henry is polling less than 1% which means he wont even qualify for the next debate if these numbers hold.

Romney Announces Reelection Bid in a Boston Rally:

Romney: Thank You , Thank You . 4 years ago when I announced that I was seeking the Republican nomination for president I told you that I believed that it was possible to make our country prosperous again, and work with Congress to fix many of our nation's long-term problems because the reason we were in the state we were in was not because our nation's best days were behind us but because we were headed down the wrong . Most of the critics told us it would not be possible for us too keep our promises as they were too hard to keep and instead we should have more modest goals as they are easier to achieve.

4 years later , our unemployment has dropped to 4.7% which is the lowest it has been since the recession(Applause) , our deficit this year is expected to be less than 400 billion which is also the lowest it has been since 2007(Applause) , and our stock market is booming. Legislatively we were able to pass comprehensive tax reform which makes our nation more competitive globally , healthcare reform which increases quality and lowers cost at the same time , education reform which prepares our kids to be ready for a globalized world, energy reform which puts our nation on a path to energy Independence, and Immigration reform which fixes our broken immigration system (Applause). We have also gotten tow major trade deals passed: LAFTA and TPP both which expand the number of trading partners we have which will reduce US reliance on trade with any one country and increase competition in the global marketplace which will increase quality as well(Applause).

Now while we have achieved a lot over this term we still have a long way to go, and that is why I will be running for another term as President of the United States(Crowd yells 4 more years). First thing we must do is we must strengthen the reforms we have already passed and make sure they are carried out in a proper way so those reforms can become long-term fixes instead of having to work on these issues once again 10 years from now . We also have threats to deal overseas  as the number one job of a President is to keep the citizens of our country safe, and to do that we must destroy potential threats  to our nation such as ISIS and other radical Islamic groups to make sure something like 9/11 can never happen again. Lastly, there are still many issues facing our country such as our nation's infrastructure being graded lower and lower every year , fully reform our departments to make sure tax money which is allocated to them is spent in the most efficient way possible and more. I believe if I am elected to a 2nd term that allow me to focus to address the issues we havent been able to address to this point (Cheers) and that Is why I will be running for a 2nd term. Thank You , May God Bless You , and May God Bless America.

Trump supported Romney in 2012 so I don't think so He may not like him now but I think if romney won Trump would have run as a Democrat or not at all Romney's pretty popular so it will be like 04 with him receiving no credible challenge

After Trump Birther rants against Obama , I don't think it is ever possible for him to run for President as a Democrat.

In this TL he ran for governor in 2014 and lost by nearly 14 points and with a popular Incumbent Republican President, there is little chance he would have of getting even 10% of the vote in a single primary so he probably will wait till 2020.

If Romney has a 60% approval rating nationwide, his approval with Republicans is probably more than 90% so really no Republican would challenge him as all the challenge would do is either destroy ther own political future or damage the GOP chances in November

Breaking News: US and India reach a tentative agreement on a potential trade deal between the countries. :

Agreement:

- End Most of the Current Trade Barriers between the US and India

-  India will raise their minimum wage by 10%

- Imported Products which are manufactured will be required to follow US style Child Labor Laws or the products will be subject to a tariff of a 100%.

-  US will invest 35 billion dollars into India's Infrastructure

Fareed Zakaria: So as you can the concessions India will have to make is they will have to raise their minimum wage by 10% and enforce child labor laws more strictly, and in exchange of those concessions the US has agreed to invest 35 billion dollars in India's Infrastructure. One way the US plans to enforce the child labor section of the agreement is by imposing a more than 100% tariff on any manufactured projects which uses child labor .

Senate Approves Trade Agreement and Romney signs it:

Anderson Cooper: So the Romney Trade Agenda has fully passed with LAFTA, TPP , and a Bilateral free trade deal with India was the Administration goal from day one, and they have been successful. The obvious question now comes is whether or not these trade deals will reduce dependency on trade with China , and roll back their influence in the region and we shall see in the next few years if that happens. The reason that is important is one of the big reasons why the President has done what he has done on trade is to accomplish these goals so part of the success of these trade deals will be judged on whether or not those goals have been accomplished or not .

CNN- Election Night in America 2015:

7:00
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz9xY_CoC_M

Wolf Blitzer: Welcome to CNN's coverage of the 2015 off year election. The Polls have just closed in Kentucky and CNN can project its too close to call. Lets go to John King for an update

John King: Well the exit polls show a tight race but if the Democrat Jack Conway wants to have a good chance of  winning here is what he will need: 1 - a big win and a good turnout in Jefferson county, and must win many counties in eastern Kentucky .

8:00

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz9xY_CoC_M

Wolf Blitzer: The Polls have just closed in Mississippi and we can project that Governor Phil Bryant will be reelected ina landlide. Now lets go back to John King for an update in Kentucky

John King: Well he has won Jefferson and with the numbers he was hoping for , now the next key counties we will be looking for in this next hour are Madison , Scott, Carter, and Harrison and if Mr.Conway wants to win he must win all 4 or the chance of him winning will be a lot more unlikely .

9:00

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz9xY_CoC_M

Wolf Blitzer: More key counties have come in and lets  go to John King for more info on the Kentucky race .

John King: So Far Mr.Bevin has narrowly managed to win counties such as Scott and Madison and while they may be narrow is very good news for his camp as now its is very hard to see the numbers for Mr.Conway

9:40:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz9xY_CoC_M

Wolf Blitzer: CNN Can Now project that Matt Bevin will be the next Governor of Kentucky , which means the Republicans will pick up one seat in the governors races so far but that number can drop to net change of 0 for either party if Democrats win in Lousinia . Now lets go to John King for why Bevin won Kentucky and looking forward in Lousinia .

John King: Well Mr. Bevin won even though they were narrow victories in counties such as Madison , Scott, Carter and thats what won him the race . For Lousinia if the Democrat wants to win the must start by winning big in New Orleans and in Baton Rouge . Then they must win counties such as Caddo , Rapides , the surrounding counties around batton rouge and in the North Eastern part of the state. Its not easy but it is definitely possible .

Wolf Blitzer: Alright that will be it for our 2015 off-year election coverage for tonight but we will be back for the Lousinia Gubernatorial Race on November 21st and we hope you join us as well.

Breaking News: Terrorist attacks in France kill over 100 civilians and injure 400 more. The Perpetrators behind the attack is ISIS.

[/size]

Anderson Cooper: If you are just coming in , we have extremely tragic news to report to you today and that is that over 100 innocent civilians were killed in a horrific terrorist attack in Paris. So far the French Authorities have identified that the perpetrators behind these horrific terrorist attacks were ISIS and the authorities are currently working on capturing the men behind these attacks and their accomplices as well as keeping the city safe. The President also released a statement on the attacks and this is what he said

The President's Statement:

These attacks were just not an attac k on Paris or France , but humanity as a whole and all the values we share. The group behind this attack was ISIS and I want to let them know that the world will not let you to continue to terrorize innocent civilians and we will come together and destroy you just like we destroyed the Nazis in World War 2.

For the people of France, I Want to let you know that all of our thoughts and prayers are with you tonight and we are ready to provide any assistance you may need in responding to these attacks. Thank You, and May God Bless the People of France.

Breaking News: 14 people murdered in a Terrorist Attack in San Bernardino. Both perpetrators of the attack were killed by authorities in a shootout.

Jake Tapper: We have gotten news that the perpetrators of this attack were radical Islamic terrorists. While ISIS has taken credit for the attack,  it is still unclear whether the perpetrators of the attack were directly affiliated with them or not, but even them taking credit for the attacks is an act of war and that is what the President said in the statement he gave . So here is a short clip of what the President said last night

Romney: While it is yet unknown whether ISIS was responsible in the attacks or not, them taking credit for it is still a act of war and must be treated as one. This is why I am urging Congress to formally Declare War on ISIS , so our military can use any means necessary to destroy ISIS just like they destroyed the Nazis over 70 years ago. I have also requested the UN to authorize military force against ISIS so the world can unite just like it did in World War Two to destroy the nature of evil from this planet.

Breaking News: Congress votes to Formally officially declare war against ISIS , and UN authorizes usage of military force against ISIS as well

Brooke Baldwin: We have some Breaking to share with you and that is Congress has voted to formally declare war against ISIS. This will be the first time the US has formally declared war since WW2 , and this declaration means the US can use any means necessary to defeat ISIS. Also, the United Nations has also just passed a resolution which authorizes the usage of military force including ground forces against ISIS. Lets go to CNN Correspondent Barbara Starr for more. Barbara how many ground troops will be expected to be used in this War

Barbara Starr: We don't know for certain yet but it will be the most used since the Gulf War back in 1991 and the reason for that is not only does the US want to take back the territory ISIS has taken so far but utterly destroy them as well , and to do that without it turns to the type of warfare we saw in Iraq from late 2003- early 2007 is to have a large enough ground force to keep the order.

Polls on the Declaration of War:

Approve: 76%
Disapprove: 20%

President Romney doesn't have the 76% approval, that's the number quoted approving the declaration of war! But still if you are the Democrat with presidential ambitions, you are less likely to even considering on seeking the Presidency against Romney in 2016, you will likely wait untI'll 2020 instead. It is likely any Democrat will see Bob Portman as a better prospect as an opponent. Also there was a thread running on Bill Haslam, but it seems to have petered out in advance of the 2020 campaign. What happened?
