I like the match partisan breakdown one for looking somewhat more coherent than the current map while achieving similar goals. You still have swing districts based in Tucson and Chandler/Tempe/S. Scottsdale but the Republican districts look more coherent.

FWIW here's a version based on the muon rules:





It uses county lines except where reservations cross the lines. It considers municipal boundaries within large counties as additional units to preserve. It requires districts to be internally connected. It allows population deviations up to 0.5% of the quota (3551 for AZ in 2010)

This is quite similar to to 538's map minimizing county line cuts.  They appear to only be minimizing the number of cuts, and not their severity.

County borders compact seems the "prettyest" and cleanest to me. Then again that's the whole point of the map.

Partisan breakdown. Normally, I like the county borders ones, but this looks too weird. It reminds me of South Africa surrounding Lesotho and Swaziland.
