Once again, this Act was originally written and introduced by Kamala. I will be claiming sponsorship of it in her stead.

Discussion may now commence.

Since I'm taking over sponsorship on this I'll make an introductory statement.

Internet is becoming exponentially more crucial to being successful in today's world -- whether it's in education, career, or personal matters. Too often are our citizens unable to receive internet either due to their geographical location or their socioeconomic status. I decided to take the sponsorship for the FremontConnect act because I believe that by creating a sensible, fair option for Fremonters to get their internet from -- one designed to serve our oft forgotten communities who have sadly been left behind -- we can help make our region more educated and more prosperous.

Looking forward to debate on this!

Given 72 hours of this act being on the floor, and 36 hours of no debate, I'm going to go ahead and call on a vote for this legislation. Y'all have 24 hours to object before we move into voting procedure.

We'll now be moving into voting procedure on item 5-7. You have 48 hours to cast your ballot.
