Where does Adolf  Hitler hide out 1945-1982?
in South America, probably.
For the record, I think there's a less than trivial chance he actually did escape to South America instead of killing himself in that bunker, but we'll likely never know for sure.

Ah, I absolutely love conspiracy theories.

Doctor Who actor Patrick Troughton died at 67. Had he lived to 93 he would have died during the 50th Anniversary year.

I am so happy this was posted.

It would've been interesting to see George Washington witness Thomas Jefferson defeat John Adams. I wish he survived more than just two years into his successor's term.

Theadore Roosevelt campaigning for FDR would've been AMAZING and seeing Teddy in the Cold War would've been the coolest. I would've liked to see William Howard Taft live until the 1950s as well.

Calvin Coolidge living past Kennedy's assasination would've been awesome as well. "I no longer fit in with these times." He said, all the way back in 1933.

Similar idea: famous 19th & 20th century figures who died relatively young, if they had George HW Bush's longevity (93 years)

Alexander Hamilton: 1757-1850
Napoleon Bonaparte: 1769-1862
Adolf Hitler: 1889-1982
King George VI: 1895-1988
Amelia Earhart: 1897-1990
Robert Kennedy: 1925-2018
Malcolm X: 1925-2018
Marilyn Monroe: 1926-2019
Anne Frank: 1929-2022
Martin Luther King, Jr.: 1929-2022
James Dean: 1931-2024
John Lennon: 1940-2033
Freddie Mercury: 1946-2039
Michael Jackson: 1958-2051
Princess Diana: 1961-2054

Napoleon alive into the Civil War?!?!

I think at some point his public image would be restored - maybe in the 1830 Revolution?

Good God, no.

30+ years of TAFT as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?

It's crazy to think about JFK and LBJ living well into the 21st century. JFK even would have been around when Obama was elected. Also, Teddy Roosevelt would have seen FDR's presidency who himself would have been alive into the Ford Administration and beyond Watergate.

By the way: Woodrow Wilson was born in 1856, so he lives to 1950, not 1953. He was two years older than Teddy.

I have to admit to being very interested in Nixon, so the possibility of him living to see 9/11 and its aftermath would be something to see
