Endorsement ballots for the Labor Party shall be open for 48 hours. Laborites will vote on who the Party will endorse in the upcoming elections. Members of the Labor Party are automatically selected as endorsed on each ballot. In races with preference voting, only vote for your first preference. Laborites shall vote for endorsements using the following official Labor Party endorsement ballot:

If all of the Labor members who are candidates are pre-selected, then why is Adam Griffin (Labor party member who is a candidate) not checked?

Probably because he isn't at the top of the ticket.

But he's still a member of the Labor Party nonetheless, top or bottom of the ticket. Wink

Laborites, there is less than 24 hours to vote for who you want the Labor Party to endorse in the upcoming elections. Be sure to remember to vote and make your voice heard!

question: will the candidate in second (at least for the presidential election) receive the endorsement for second preference?

Yes, the candidate in second for all elections, not just presidential, will receive the second preference endorsement of the Labor Party (at least in all races where there wasn't a tie for second place or races with more than just 2 candidates running).

Now that the business of endorsements has been finished, we will move on to the bylaws. Members shall have 48 hours to offer revisions to the Labor Party bylaws. After a revision has been offered, members have 24 hours to object. If the revision is objected to, then the convention will vote on the revision. Here are the current bylaws:

I thank the Labor Party for granting me their endorsement and may address it at a later time, within twenty-four hours. I am unable to type a long speech now because one of my fingers is jammed.

With more than 48 hours having passed, the bylaws have been approved. Next, we will move on to the business of deciding on a convention city for the next convention. Because the convention was least recently held in Fremont, the next convention is required to be held in Fremont. Laborites have 24 hours to nominate a convention city.

I nominate Seattle, Washington.

With more than 24 hours having passed, the period for nominations is now over. The convention will now vote on the city for the next convention to be held. The voting period will last for 48 hours. Laborites may vote for only one of the two following cities:

[] Seattle, Washington

[] Boise, Idaho
