This seems difficult to believe, as it would imply that fair skin evolved in a span of only about 6,000 years (since we know from documentary historical evidence that northern Europeans were pale-skinned by around 4,000 years ago), which seems highly implausible. I suppose it's possible this particular specimen was highly unrepresentative of the surrounding population, but honestly I think it's more likely that the genetic study in this case is just bad.

People that believe science can use DNA to find out what color skin a dude that's been dead for 10k years has but are afraid of GMOs should be drawn and quartered.
