If you give all 5 the same congressional majority, I think Gillibrand and Warren get the most done. Biden is only progressive half the time, and like Obama is too bi-partisan to get as much as he wants done. And Sanders and Harris would get about the same done, but Sanders would promise more, so probably him.

Sanders or Warren, as the expectations are sky high. I can see the flip side being someone like Rand Paul winning the Oval Office.

Biden or Gillibrand. But there needs to be an option for Booker.

Gillibrand has been making moves to represent the progressive base and knows how to play hardball position. She wouldn't disappoint anybody but diehard bipartisans.

I feel Sanders would be a terribly ineffective president while Biden would try to appeal to moderates by pushing bipartisan, toothless legislations.

Biden and Sanders.  As people have mentioned; Biden would be likely to squander a majority in the name of bipartisanship and Sanders would over-promise and even if he did have some achievements he'd find it wasn't as easy as waving a magic wand and thus leave his base disappointed that everything didn't get magically fixed.

Gillibrand or Booker if Democrats are vying for a progressive hero.

Any Dem who has conveniently shifted leftward in recent times would undoubtedly serve in office as a center-right president. We've seen it all before.

Both aren’t really progressive heroes to begin with. They reek of Third Way politics, however since they don’t advertise themselves to be anything but, they won’t be disappointments. They’ll just be awful.

Biden supported the TPP and thinks that all sex is rape, so him.

Joe Biden. He will concede to the Republicans too much and the Democratic base is tired of that bullsh-t. Obama screwed up enough things trying to appease those amoral demon spawn.

However, Sanders will screw up the party in the long run. He makes promises he knows he can't keep and will disillusion an entire generation of voters.

Sanders or Warren, but Sanders is more likely to overpromise.
