The crop of Republicans elected in 2016 has really been the worst yet. And that's saying something.

Still absolutely no comment or action from Josh Hawley.

Other than Hawley also being a Republican this doesn't really hurt him.

However it is a benefit to McCaskill.

Hawley is the Attorney General of Missouri. He could easily be participating in this investigation. However, he has decided to pretend nothing happened.

And that matters, since Democrat sex fiends must always resign.

Last time I checked, Bill Clinton didn't resign.

I love watching a politician die a political death. Hopefully he'll pull a Blagojevich and go down with the ship, be impeached and tossed out of office.

EDIT: After reading the article, he already sounds like Blago.

Seems as if Claire McCaskill has some power over the MO Gop to make them fumble the ball at the most convenient times. She has got to be the luckiest U.S. Senator.

If this hurts Hawley at all, it's because other Republicans, like Ann Wagner, Sarah Steelman, Jay Ashcroft, Todd Richardson or Matt Blunt jump in, and beat him in the primary. McCaskill is likely still going to lose.

Last time I checked, Bill Clinton didn't resign.

He didn't.  And if Hillary Clinton were president today, politicians would have continued to be shielded from accountability (even if Weinstein's accusers came forward anyway, because you never would have had a sitting Democratic senator state that the President's husband should have resigned when he was in office).

But the Clinton legacy doesn't matter anymore, and that has (rightfully or not) given Democrats the go-ahead to take the party in another direction, freed from the stains of history.  Pun not intended.  Suffice to say they've made good use of political capital.

Contrast that with Greitens (and what will almost assuredly be the loyalty of most of his party), and there you have it.

In other words:

If there is no resignation within the next 24 hours, we better see massive calls from Republicans for him to step down.  If Franken needed to go, there is no question Greitens has to.

Step down? Why?  Is Trump or Pence resigning, and the GOP needs someone to step into their shoes who better represents the party?

I for one oppose the impeachment of the bondage Governor.

I prefer he stays so we can watch this clown show and Democrats can pick up many legislature seats in STL and KC suburbs and we elect a Democratic governor in 2020.

Well, it had to be either Soros, Pelosi, Hillary, or Obama.  I picture the GOP having a dirt dart board with those names on it that they use to decide who to blame.

(The typo was unintentional, but amusing enough to leave in place.)
