Both had pretty bad relationships (Obama and Harper due to Keystone and Trump and Trudeau due to NAFTA )

Who’s relationship was worse though

Kennnedy and Diefenbaker hated each other. Kennedy asked "never to see that broing son ofa bitch again" and Diefenbaker accused him of being "a hot-head ... a fool - too young, too brash, too inexperienced, and a boastful son of a bitch." It was over Cuba mainly (Diefenbaker opposed Bay of Pigs/was sympathetic towards the Cubans generally).

The best relationship was Chretien and Clinton.

WI: Diefenbaker-JFK

As for best, Mulroney-Reagan must be up there.

LOL I just wanted to bring that one up. LBJ once grabbed Pearson by his shirt collar and said "you don't come into my living room and piss on my rug."

Yeah, he supported Joe Clark to win the 1980 election.
