Official Southeastern Voting Booth
September 2005 Election and Initiative Referendum
[/b]
Voting opens at midnight Central Time (1 a.m. Eastern Time) on Friday, September 16, 2005.  Any ballots cast before that time will be invalid. Voting will end at 11:59 pm Central Time on Sunday, September 18 (12:59 am Eastern Time on Monday, September 19).

This election shall be conducted in strict accordance with the Southeastern Election Regulations.  You must be an eligible, registered voter of the Southeastern Region during the entire time this election is open in order for your vote to be valid.  Editing a ballot disqualifies it.  All discussion of the election must be conducted in a separate thread.

The Southeast Region uses approval voting for regional elections.  List all persons of whom you approve for Lieutenant Governor; no preference order is necessary.  In the event that multiple candidates should be tied for most approvals, a runoff will be held.  Voters may write in the name of any Southeast resident in addition to or instead of the candidates on this ballot.

There is a Lt. Gubernatorial Election on the ballot this month. The announced candidates are Ian of Louisiana. This is an approval election, so you may approve of as many candidates as you want.

There are sixteen initiatives up for a vote on this ballot, each proposed as per Article I Section 6 of the Southeast Constitution.  The initiatives that will be voted on may be seen in their entirety here:
