But even then not all Federal Prisons are Club Fed. Then again, most of his crimes are white collar in nature. Then again, some of his crimes were against national security. Where do you put someone like that?

Manafort went to a federal prison (Northern Neck Regional Jail, to be specific; incidentally, Michael Vick also did part of his sentence there before he transferred to Leavenworth) and is likely in some sort of protective custody given his high-profile status.  I also wouldn't be surprised if he's on suicide watch, at least for the time being.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned here, but the WaPo says that Mueller will issue a report within the next three months or so that covers the obstruction side of the investigation, and the collusion side of the investigation will keep going after that report is out.

The obstruction report will be sent to Rosenstein, and it's up to him to decide whether to send a copy to Congress, or to release it to the public, or keep it all secret:

It seems like most commentary on the investigation is ignoring this bit.  Most seem to have assumed that there would be a single report at the end of Mueller's investigation, and that that could be many months / years away.  But it sounds like a report on the obstruction of justice side of things may be imminent, and I'm not sure if either party in Congress has really thought through what they're going to do if/when this report becomes public just before the midterms.  E.g., will the Dem. grassroots demand that the Dems in Congress push for impeachment once the obstruction report is out (depending on the particulars, of course)?

I don't know anything more specific than what's already posted in the quote above, which says "a report on whether Trump sought to obstruct a probe into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign".

It's not clear to me that Mueller is going to make a recommendation to Rosenstein or Congress on whether Trump should be impeached or not.  He could just explain what facts he uncovered, and leave it up to Congress to decide how to handle it.  In fact, I'm presuming that that's what he'll do, since I don't think it's normal practice for the special counsel to try to tell Congress whether impeachment is called for.
