Okay, apologies but Atlasia crept up on me and I've got to work on PMing people, so I'll need another day.  Seems like HCP needs that day as well.

I would love to continue, but I don't have enough time. Maybe a scenario where Huckabee is forced to drop out (i.e maybe Janet Huckabee gets a major disease) would be appropriate. I don't see him irl dropping out unless he's forced to.
After Super Tuesday, I could see Huckabee drop out since he only won Oklahoma

Actually, Huckabee getting steamrolled in Kansas, and big names like George W. Bush, George H.W Bush...and Giuliani endorsing DeMint would probably be enough to force Huckabee out.

*Spoiler alert*: I'm not endorsing DeMint. I'm going to make this race interesting. Wink

Oh, you're going to run third party too?

Nope, I wouldn't get anywhere.

This is my very rough prediction of the general election map. I believe that it will be pretty easy win for Republicans since how divided the Democratic party is since Obama was pulling away progressives while Bloomberg is taking centrist away from Brendsen. But, I do believe a lot of Bloomberg voters will be coming from the Republicans since the Bush and maybe Guiliani endorsement. Still, my guess is that since DeMint/Bachmann are very much liked by the base and are a grassroots campaign that Republican turnout will surge since they will be energized.

Overall I believe the results will look like:
#1 DeMint/Bachmann (R);
334 EV
35%

#2 Bredesen (D);
201
30%

#3 Bloomberg/King (I);
3
20%

#4 Obama/Brown (G);
0
13%

#5 Carrola/Johnson (L);
0
2%

This is my Battleground Map ideas

however, with some support from the Progressives and do to the fact that I don't think Demint and Bachmann aren't that favorable to Immigrants, the WWC, and New Englanders, they won't win a few states that you suggested. The Tea Party might be liked by the base, but the General Election is decided by the Undecideds, not the base. I think that with my undecided machine, this will most likely be the result:

I didn't say it earlier, but Missouri should probably at least start as a tossup.

Apparently he resigned as Mayor before trying to pass that.

No word on whether wx actually allowed that. Since he never commented on it, I assume he did.

I'll allow that for continuity's sake.

I'm just really happy the action that made my life hell here in Cook County (when they passed the pop tax) wouldn't be backed by Bloomberg in this TL, that's all

I mean if we kept Bloomberg as mayor and he did pass the soda tax or even supported it then he would be destroyed in the general election since all Republicans would abandon his campaign

Considering the vast majority of Republicans support an increase to the cigarette tax, I don't think Bloomberg would be tarred by a soda tax.

Alright, this extension has gone on long enough and it appears that the people who are still left likely won't post. Turn ends tomorrow night.

Well, I'm sorry but I've honestly lost interest in this game, especially with another 2 games catching my eye. I don't want to keep going with something I don't like, so Bloomberg will be dropping out, apologies all.

DONALD TRUMP ENDORSES MIKE HUCKABEE, ENCOURAGES GOP TO UNITE BEHIND HIM!

“Hello ladies and gentlemen! I’m not sure if you know this, but Mike Huckabee is the best choice for President this year. His leadership is the best for America. Together we can unite together to Make America Great Again! The democratic side really has a bad leader. So I call on all of you. Republicans, indepedents, Americans in general. Vote for Mike Huckabee. Please. Also, this is good news, I may his running mate. Which a Huckabee/Trump ticket would really be the best for America! Thank you! And God bless you!”

I'm granted with the gift of more time irl, so I can say I have more time to finish up (even though I haven't even begun). I have to say, I've lost interest with this game, but I won't mind posting.

And uhh, since Carolla took Johnson's endorsement from me, does that mean I get an extra endorsement?

Games dead. Sorry to see it go, people just lost interest. I or someone else might be willing to make some other election game, but as of now, there are no such election games like this one that are active right now.

It appears so. After a while, everyone started leaving, so I'm not sure if there's much reason to continue unless there's a surge in interest. It's a shame, we really had something going here Tongue

As of now, my schedule has tightened considerably, so unless there is some new interest, I likely won't be hosting any games until late this year.
