Only Sanders core supporters. Because that ticket doesn't help Sanders in any way, shape, or form outside of his base.

This.  People act like Trump's core base is working class Whites, but he still lost 30% of them.  People act like Bernie Sanders would have been like THE candidate of working class Whites, but he likely only would have gotten up to about 40%.  In nearly every election, White men and black women are going to represent the GOP and Democrats' most loyal groups, regardless of income, geographic area or candidates.

Bad idea for a ticket. But they'd do well with black women and millennials.

Singling this out implies they’d do better with them than, say, Black college students.

With Trump winning states in the rust belt by minuscule margins, Bernie picking up 10% of their working class white male populations would have probably tipped the election in his favor.

That's exactly what I am implying.

I'm pretty sure the reason Hillary was perceived as doing better with "minorities" and Sanders with whites is because older Democrats tend to be "minorities" (due to older whites being Republicans) while younger Democrats tend to be racially diverse.

For both. Obviously they would win people of color in the general election but it would probably be the floor for most Democrats. They would definitely swallow up a significant amount of the white college student vote in both.
