The "offences" were:

1) For Sellner, intending to hold a speech at the Speaker's Corner critical of Islam.

2) For Pettibone, intending to interview the British Islam critic Tommy Robinson.

3) For Southern, having distributed leaflets saying "Allah is a gay God" on a previous visit to UK; this message was deemed to be "racist".

While the UK is concentrating on the danger posed by these people, they have allowed the return of over 400 ISIS fighters to the country.

Mo (pbuh) is a weak god, with low self esteem and his followers are sometimes violent in defense of him.  The UK is just being proactive.

They should focus more on keeping the Helsinkian-mentioned IS fighters out ...

They banned Wilders in 2009 or so as well. Insane. Sellner and Wilders are EU citizens, which makes it worse in their case.

What, a country can't control its own borders?

I think it's clear that they can, which is a good thing. Does not mean their decision on whom (not) to allow in cannot be criticized.

yes

what is your point here? I'm a little confused as to what that has to do with this.  Certainly nobody here is suggesting they should have control over who the UK lets into their country.  Only an asshole would do that.  Every good country ever has protected it's borders, only goofball libertarians and bleeding heart progressives think totally open borders is good policy.  We're just pointing out how silly it is to ban these people because some soft brains might cause some trouble, while letting in hundreds of people into the country who have already shown they are willing to travel very far and into a warzone to support clearly bad people doing horrible things.  That doesn't make much sense to me, perhaps you understand it better?

I hope they weren't banned for being critical of Islam as a religion. Yes, criticism of Islam from the right is 95% coded racism against Arabs/Africans, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be free to criticize it.

Their purpose was not to travel to the UK to criticise Islam, rather to stir up hate and radicalise people against muslims. We have way too many anti-muslim attacks in the UK.

Britain does have the right to control their own borders and ban anyone from entering the country. We're just pointing out how ridiculous it is that their authorities consider disagreeing with leftist narratives a bigger crime and a bigger indicator of a threat than literally being a former ISIS fighter. They've clearly bought into the relentless barrage of leftist propaganda claiming that white right-wingers are actually a bigger terrorist threat than Islamists; a claim that is always based on some kind of misleading data, as this article shows.

This title is pretty misleading. I thought you meant that all critics of Islam were being banned.

I wonder whether the leftists in this thread would be as delighted with shutting down free speech if Trump would do it to some of the left-wing media in the U.S. that are more radical than any of the people banned from the UK.

Confirmed political extremists of whatever hue are routinely refused entry to the UK: one of the best known examples is actually Louis Farrakhan.

Farrakhan, Southern, etc. are by no means good but it's also not good to deny someone entry simply based on their political views.

Why exactly do we need to allow foreign far-right agitators to deliver leaflets in order to help engender a race war? We already have the US President retweeting a group that has contributed to the murder of one MP.

They should be able to distribute leaflets all they want. Nobody is required to pay attention to them, and nobody really will.

Except plenty do - and a number act upon them. I'm afraid 'cos muh liberalism' doesn't really wash here. If they're so arsed about protecting their homeland how about they do that.

This goes for Farage as well - no other country should have to deal with that prick.

They are also investigating a woman and banning her from leaving the country for criticizing a transgender activist group.

Twitter just gave them her information?  That's not good.  It's not surprising that the UK sucks on this, but Twitter?  I would have hoped they would have a little bit of a backbone.
