Lol. All she's going to do is take 5% of the vote and allow Hager to slip by for another term. Literally nobody here (this is my home district BTW, though I'm in Tallahassee these days) is going to care, and the local Democratic branch in this district has scores of relatively decent candidates. This is a relatively competitive district, though Hager did go unopposed in 2016.

Also, it is worth noting that the accuser who was both the most credible and most damaging was Leigh Corfmann. Deborah Gibson and Beverly Nelson hardly dented the armor.

TL;DR, Gibson is a low grade Democratic activist who had 15 minutes of fame and is now actively destroying what little foundation of a career she has in Democratic politics by spoiling a

She won't win. Independents rarely win states outside of New England and maybe a state with a high Mormon population. I know she's not running state wide, but still.

If Dems can win in NEB, so can she, who knows and who knows if Sue Minter will jump in the race against Phil Scott and win it.

She's not running as a Democrat though. all she'll do is spoil the race for the actual Democratic nominee.
