I consider Phoenix to basically be a hell hole. So I would move in next to Grumps.

Pittsburg has Carnegie Mellon and a booming healtcare sector, so it. Also because I'm not sure how living in 120 degree weather is possible.

That said, does anyone think Phoenix will get a Cape Town-style "Day Zero" where they run out of water soon?

Call me an alarmist, but I'm actually legitimately worried that people could die over water shortages in the PHX metro. It's possible.

All over AZ really. The big issue is that A: AFAIK CA gets dibs on the Colorado(one of our main water sources); theoretically in a drought they could swallow up the whole river and not leave anything for our drinking water. B. CA and AZ have inhuman amounts of agriculture; the central valley is a major breadbasket of the US, and it sucks up lots of water, especially for Alfalfa used for dairy. Hopefully politicians would put our lives above agriculture, but I'm not sure...

Phoenix, but that's assuming I have money and the Colorado River isn't about to dry up.

The city that doesn't literally melt in the summer.  Pittsburgh is moving past it's history of being a industrial wasteland and has a booming tech and healthcare sector. The Southwest is not fit for human civilization and is dangerously low on water.

Phoenix = (Los Angeles - (its beaches and attendant cooling breezes + sophistication)) = hell.

Pittsburgh is a pretty cool city, but the main reason I'm voting for it is that I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork than live in Phoenix.
