My immediate guess was that it would be a story about her running in a charity race. Smiley

I hope Maria helps the Dem candidate in WA-08 fundraise, that person will need it against Rossi.

Is there any polling on the Democratic primary in that congressional district?

I wouldn't be too worried about Dino Rossi as he has blown several races and is a perennial candidate at this point.

None that I have seen.

As a statewide candidate, Rossi is a joke.  However, he won this district area when he ran statewide.  I have two major concerns.

1.  We have a divided Democratic Primary with a bunch of little known candidates jostling for support.  Rossi has no real primary opposition and is consolidating support.

2.  Rossi has huge political baggage from his three statewide losses, but also huge name recognition and political connections.  He is leading the fundraising race by a mile.

That said, I would still rather be us than Rossi.  He will be running in a horrible political environment for Republicans and is easily caricatured as a con artist, just like President Anus Orange.

Is there any rule about transferring donations from one candidate to another? I mean, there probably should be, but if there isn't, I'm sure the Dems in WA-3, WA-5 and WA-8 (and hey, why not WA-4 as well) could use a boost from the Cantwell war chest.

PAC's can donate to another candidate's committee.
