I object. Whilst I strongly supported keeping the six month non voting period to protect users who may stay away from Atlasia for some time (while remaining active elsewhere), I don't find it wise to eliminate activity requirements like that and I echo Poirot's concerns about zombie voters.

the objection by Senator Lumine is registered. We are now voting on the amendment by Senator Mr. Reactionary. Senators have 72 hours to vote aye, nay, or abstain.

I guess this refers to the first paragraph in my post in the Congress discussion thread:

I will introduce an amendment after this vote that would include a 5 posts in 8 weeks requirement in order to vote in federal elections which should be fair enough to satisfy concerns.

With Senator Sestak replacing Pericles, the Amendment stands at two votes in favor, two against, and two abstentions. I will break the tie with nay. The amendment has failed and debate resumes.

Here is a new amendment changing the post requirement from 10 per 8 weeks to 5 per 8 weeks which should be a fair middle ground compromise in order to make it easier to vote while still maintaining a safeguard against zombie voting. Since I'm leaving the Senate soon, I would like for one of you to sponsor this amendment for me and assume sponsorship of the bill.

Bumping this since the Senate is ready to do business again. Would any sitting Senator like to sponsor former Senator LouisvilleThunder's amendment?

We may also want to have someone sponsor the bill too. If nobody moves to sponsor the bill within 24 hours I will bring this amendment up to a vote.

With no objections, Senator wxtransit has assumed sponsorship. What is the sponsor's response to Amendment S12:02?

Alrighty, any questions still outstanding that we need to address? I'm not yet ready to call for a final vote, but if everyone else has also found nothing wrong with the bill, then I think we should.
