Jerry Brown's job approval rating is not great at 49%. Interesting that 53% of Independents disapprove of his job performance considering that Independents have been leaning Democrat.

Important to note that 11% of Democrats are undecided compared with 23% of Republicans and 36% of Independents. I think Cox will gain enough Republican undecideds to beat Villariagosa in the primary.
