I wish I was able to have stayed on-the-ball with this. My bad! There's a few more things I should've asked--namely, who this benefits and if it's really the best use for government money. I frankly don't think the suffering people in this country are thinking "oh, if only we had high-speed rail to save us!" Maybe it's just the circles I'm in, but it seems to me like most people wouldn't benefit from this as much as they would from countless other things. I guess it's a pet project for so many people here considering it's the governmental equivalent of model trains, and for that--well, I totally understand Tongue

I could see myself voting for this if circumstances were different, but because 1) [what I said above] 2) it's already decided and 3) unanimity is BORING, I'll be voting Nay.
