Yep that's true. My uncle on my mom's side is balding, so everyone in my family is freaking out over whether I'll become bald.

This scientifically isn’t true beyond the same extent that having a balding father makes you more likely to be bald. This statement doesn’t make sense scientifically or using common sense.
