At 10:34:29 pm Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, April 5, 2018, the oldest political party in the nation has officially dissolved.

I wondered several times in the course of six years how Labor would meet its end (and if it ever would). To my surprise, it didn't quite went out with a bang.
