Democratic primary voters are useless, pathetic pro-incumbent hacks. News at 11.

I really do wish we could take a page from the GOP. Say what you want about Christine O'Donnell and Richard Mourdock, but at least their values matched those of their voters.

Awful, awful rhetoric. I’m digusted and appalled to see the wonderful voters of California demonized by the elites, but I’m not surprised.

Oh, it's not just California. Democrats everywhere are like that. We are and remain the inept, complacent party.

Voters in California still support Feinstein. Notice that it's mostly just white liberals who don't like Feinstein.

Far leftists just hate Feinstein. Feinstein couldn't be more popular as senator cross demographics. Even Republicans are fine with having her as senator.

Thanks for proving why Feinstein is terrible.

Feinstein doesn't tow the far-left line. That's perfectly reasonable even if they sometimes came be poor decisions that can merit fair criticism such as her Iraq War vote.

When her California colleague is one of the most liberal senators in the country and gets attacked by the left for being too centrist you realize they have a structurally problem.  They don't gasp that politics is serious business, that you aren't going to get your way just as a child will be denied at points to not do something because his parents said so. Why does one negative contradict all of the good someone like Feinstein has done for Cali and America?

People like you don't treat politics like serious business. They treat politics like a game where playing by muh rules is more important than actually achieving meaningful change. People like you are the reason why everybody hates politics. Say what you want about the Republicans' amoral cynicism, but at least they actually want to enact meaningful policy change.

The True LeftTM can’t even win in libtardtopia California.

Sad!

In before a Bernie Bro implies California is only SOCIALLY liberal but is fiscally moderate because muh a few rich people.

*raises hand*

California is one of the most unequal States and there's little political will to do anything about it. Friggin' San Francisco elected a mayor whose answer to the homelessness crisis is "let's hire more cops to rough'em up". The idea that we're a "fiscally liberal" State (in the ridiculous American vulgate, at least) is patently absurd.

KDL is in favor of abolishing ICE? He should abolish his senatorial aspirations when Governor Newsom appoints Feinstein’s replacement.

The only thing that’s gonna burn more is when your boy Kevin loses spectacularly in November.

wow it's almost as if winning or losing is more important to you than right and wrong because you're a soulless creep for whom politics is a f**king game

The thread titles have been amusing

"De Leon sucks in Imperial County"
"De Leon sucks in his own Senate district"
"De Leon sucks with Hispanics"
"De Leon's fellow legislative leader isn't supporting him"

Atlas centrists patting themselves on the back because an entrenched incumbent who was alway going to win is winning is a pretty pathetic sight, isn't it?

The hackery in these titles is reaching absurd levels. Nobody cares about the CPC.

How is Feinstein the Republican candidate? She is still a staunch liberal Democrat in most aspects (particularly on issues such as gun control and judicial nominations), so I'm not sure where the logic for this argument comes from.

"Judicial nominations" isn't a policy issue, and gun control isn't really a left-right issue in any ideological sense.
