I think I like this bill overall.

Section 2 is eliminating State/Regional regulations on Interstate Commerce, which afaik are unconstitutional.

What is Section 3 about though?  Why is the blending of Ethanol/Biofuel into Petrol required?  and why should it be repealed?

II-1 uses the dormant commerce clause to preempt regulations limiting manufacturer to consumer sales of cars without an intermediary dealer. Such laws are often a burden on Tesla and other startup electric car companies who dont have the marketshare yet to have a bunch of physical dealerships.

III-1 eliminates the ethanol blending requirements mandated under the big Energy bill the Republicans passed in like 2004 or 2005. It mandates that all gasoline sold be 10% ethanol by volume. Basically it was a big unnecessary subsidy for corn and it makes food more expensive as certain amounts must be blended with gasoline to make sure it can be sold. This law ruins engines, does nothing to conserve energy or reduce fossil fuel usage, and is stupid.

I endorse this bill bigly. Dealership restrictions are essentially a shoddy protection for the oil industry and is more or less the dictionary definition of government imposed barriers to entry.
