The least terrible option was Rand Paul solely because of foreign policy and even that he was kind of weak on compared to where he should've been.
Graham, Gilmore, Pataki, and Christie were at least amusing because they genuinely thought "REMEMBER DA TOWAHS 911 911 911" was going to work even though they saw how Rudy Giuliani 2008 turned out, and at least Pataki is vaguely pro choice. Also the semi-viral "GILMORE MAN" video was genuinely pretty funny.
Kasich's rambling incoherent speeches about family and being a nice fella despite his background showing him as a complete jerk was pretty amusing.
Jeb Bush was the meme candidate so he's next. Also Rick Perry was on dancing with the stars and was hilariously bad.
The list gets pretty negative after that - Huckabee at least wasn't as terrible a Governor of Arkansas as he is terrible at jokes. Ben Carson was asleep at all the debates so I can't really remember anything about his campaign besides being the guy who originally came up with the "drain the swamp" language. Bobby Jindal got some serious shame when a Democrat picked up the Louisiana Governorship just after he ended his campaign for President.
ugggh Santorum is Santorum, at least he backed a minimum wage hike a while ago.
Rubio and onwards is just trash with no redeeming qualities except maybe unintentional humor.
So I guess it goes
1. Rand Paul
2. George Pataki
3. Jim Gilmore
4. Chris Christie
5. Lindsey Graham
6. John Kasich
7. Jeb
Bush
8. Rick Perry
9. Mike Huckabee
10. Ben Carson
11. Bobby Jindal
12. Rick Santorum
13. Marco Rubio
14. Donald Trump
15. Carly Fiorina
16. Ted Cruz
