This is a great poll for Braun, shows him leading the primary AND shows his 2 opponents losing by double digits to Donnelly

Indeed and he isn't measured at all. So he can cite this poll as proof that he is only one who can win. If polled, he would probably be way behind because of name recognition.

Whoa!!! Surprise

I mean, lolgravis, but still. Wonder why Braun isn’t on here?

Probably because no one thinks he'll win?

Is there polling that backs that up? It’s my understanding that he has an excellent chance to sneak up the middle as Messer and Rokita go scorched earth on each other

I'll change this to no one "thought" he would win. Probably because of the frontrunners and their name recognition.

If Braun is leading the primary, why didn't they poll him against Donnelly? Huh

Titanium R.

Unsurprisingly, Holcolmb is rapidly approaching Mitch Daniels levels of popularity. Who's the poor sacrificial lamb the Indiana Dems are gonna put forth to get annhilated in 2020?

Fair enough.

The poll has Braun winning the Republican primary... and polls general election matchups with all Republicans... except Braun.

Let's analyze everything else:

Trump Approval: 47/48
Sen. Donnelly (D) Approval: 37/32
Sen. Young (R) Approval: 30/31
Gov. Holocomb Approval: 52/28

Secretary of State Race:
Connie Lawson (R-inc) 29%
Jim Harper (D) 24%
George Wolfe (G) 8%

Tax Reform Approval: 41/36 approve
Abortion Ban Outright: 45/46 oppose
Abortion Ban 20-weeks: 45/39 support
LGBTQ Non-discrimination Law: 66/16 support
National Guard to the Border: 49/36 support
Trump Trade Policy: 41/40 support

So overall Indiana is a very weird state. Hilarious that a Green Party candidate is nabbing 8% right now from the Democrat in the SoS race. They are supporting Trump's trade policies, barely, but nonetheless expected.

Yeah, I think Braun would be a bit closer, maybe like +5, but this shows how weak Rokita and Messer are. If they win, it's definitely Tilt or Lean D. Also not surprised at all about the primary numbers, that's exactly where I expected the race would be.

Completely unsurprising that Rokita and Messer are killing eachother.

Braun's gonna win the primary, and make it Tilt R

Seems everything is inflated a bit but Rokita is an insufferable prick.

Rokita and Messer have already turned on Braun. They teamed up against him at the last debate,

I don't really buy this, but if Donelly can get that much support, Heitkamp can win in a landslide.

Why the hell they didn't make a general election match-up poll between Braun and Donnelly?

Freedom poll. He's going to win. I think McCaskill is the only Democrat that could be in trouble looking ahead for November.

Yep, and I expect McCaskill to win.

McCaskill is heavily favored to win. I myself am mostly worried about WV (unless Blankenship wins nomination), ND, and AZ (only if McSally wins nomination).

And you’re only coming to this conclusion now because of this one sketchy poll, as if that was ever in doubt? Anyway, I think this is too D-friendly (Gravis was also way too generous to Bayh in 2016), though I’m sure Donnelly has a sizeable lead right now which will obviously (like in 2016) dwindle over the course of the GE campaign as we get closer to election day. Whether it will be enough for the Republican candidate to win remains to be seen.

I only say this because I never really considered Donelly winning by a comfortable margin, this being IN and all. But like I said, I don't buy the poll; I mean, it's Gravis after all.

No frigging way! This can't be right? Can it? I was really worried about this seat. I probably still should be since Gravis isn't the best pollster but a double digit lead in a poll like this is still pretty significant and I don't know if Braun would narrow Donnelly's margin too much more.

For reference, the GOP won the 2016 Congressional PV by 15 and lead the GCB by 12 here. So that is a little weird compared to the Trump approval and the senate numbers.
Yep, 2016 is back and any number showing otherwise should always be questioned.

Okay hemorrhoid. Your stupidity is physically hurting me at this point. It's on to ignore you go.
