I open the floor for debate. The sponsor has 36 hours to argue in favor of this bill.

Legalizing the use of marijuana was a major step forward, as it is not harmful to health and the criminalization of it was used as a discriminatory measure from years. What has been often overlooked, however, is that there are several other drugs that are just like marijuana: safe but illegal. Legalizing them would end unnecessary arrests, saving money, and create a new taxable market, making money. This bill also contains what I believe to be adequate regulation, but I'm open to other things. I'm also open to adding or removing certain drugs from this list if need be.

Will we retroactively release all nonviolent drug offenders who would not have been arrested under this bill? Also I agree with what Mr. R said.

That makes 2 regions with medical cocaine. And the federal bill to allow regional medical cocaine policies is about to pass in the Senate. Good work team. Someone get Freemont on board.

The federal bill also ends prohibition on the other drugs listed here except for GHB and MDMA.
