I was reading about Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, who's facing criminal charges relating to an affair, and computer based misconduct, but the article said there's unresolved legal questions (I assume in Missouri state law) about whether you can be impeached for crimes that happened before you held office?

“The only honest answer is that an impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers [it] to be at a given moment in history; conviction results from whatever offense or offenses two-thirds of the other body considers to be sufficiently serious to require removal of the accused from office.”

If Greitens can, then it should logically follow that President Trump also can, right?
