Centre right. His government is basically indistinguishable from other European conservatives

Maybe he is slightly more liberal socially but that's about it. And I'd say that is because LR have gone too far to the right to the point where they are Le Pen lite, so the centre-right was essencially empty

Centre-Right probably, Macron and his party would correspond to the VVD in the Netherlands, the FDP in Germany and the MR and OpenVLD in Belgium. Basically ideologically he and his party belong in the ALDE at European level, I frankly didn't understand why Macron wanted to create a new group in the EU Parliament.
